Organisaton data determination at item level does not work as expected

HI,

I have the following scenario:

1. usage of Header division

As suggested by the SPRO for "Define Use of Division and Dummy Division"  "..

Maintain Header Division

If you want to use a header division in SAP CRM, select the field Header division active. You use this if your company, rather than your products, is organized according to divisions. ...". This is my case, I have 31 divisions used t structure the company in ECC, not products. Products are defined in ECC in Dummy (reference Division 00 and dummy distribution Channel thus transfered in CRM with say 1000/00/00).

2.  I have set up Organisation data determination at header and a profile with no rule at item level, as suggested in : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/61/ac747795b511d3b53e006094b9ea37/frameset.htm  for the use of Header Division

3. I have transferred also the Dummy divison/ Distr Channel Config from ECC to CRM so I have Distr channel/ Division  00/00   as Reference for documents set in tables SMOTVKOS, SMOTVTA.

4. I have transferred my materials from ECC (defined in 00/00) into CRM (again defined in 00/00).

Now I would like to have a sales transaction (Opportunity, Lead, etc)  with my Organisation data detrmination for the RIGHT SOrg/ DChan/Division   9Say 1000/03/11)  but putting my material on item level the system gives an error message:

"CRM_PRODUCT_I419     Product 10000000006 not scheduled in sales organization BSR_SALES,distribution channel 03"

My understanding is the system gets the Header Division but not the Distr. Channel. Is there any way t avoid this and to achieve what I need?  ( I mean as in ECC SD- sales area is 1000/03/11, you enter material defined in 1000/00/00 and it works..)
