BP EXTERNAL NUMBER

Hi,

    I have to change the external BP number .In BP  T.code  idetification tab  there is a field External  BP number.

It is having three value one is sever name client name and user name.Now my requriment is I have to change  the sever name in external no range.

E.g EXTERNAL BP NUMBER:      ECC 700 RRP      NOW I have to change it to CRM 700 RRP.

IS IT POSSIBLE OR ANY EFFECT TO BUSINESS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
