STEPS TO CREATE A SIMPLE CRM WEB UI APPLICATION?

I am very new to SAP CRM. Can anyone provide the steps that states the approach for the problem.

I have a requirement that, I will create an application in WEB UI. There will be a search page that ask for an input.

And the result page for displaying data based on search criteria??

Any threads that has the above would also be helpful.
