want the SC to be in Display mode except one field

Hi All,

In webui ,for a specified role i want the SC to be in display mode except a field.I tried by using CRM_ORDER_FIELDCHECK BADI but didn't got the desired result.Please suggest in solving this.

i don't want to do in a way of creating seperate configuration for that specified role.I wana do it through BADI's or through some coding.
