To use '/' in the begining of XML element in Transformation

Hi Experts,

                 I am facing a unique issue in SAP Transformations. Actually the name of DDIC  structure , begins with '/'  has to be used in the transformation.

But as you know in the tag start itself, XML interprets it as a closed tag and gives XML parsing error. If anyone has any idea regarding this, it would be very helpful.
