Reading a variable in another view

Hello experts,

I have the following query.

I have a variable "lv_flag" getting filled in the "DO_VALIDATE_INPUT" method of a view. I have to read this variable in the event "EH_ONSAVE" in another view which is in the same component.

Could you please suggest me a way to do this. It will be very helpful, if a code snippet is provided.
