Is CRM 4.0 compatible with BI 7.0 ?

Hello,

my customer is currently using R/3 4.6, CRM 4.0 and BW 3.5 and we are planning a BW upgrade to BI 7.

We are wondering if CRM 4.0 is compatible with BI 7 or if it is necessary to first upgrade CRM (and if yes , is it necessary then to first upgrade R/3 to ECC6...?)
