hide the search criteria field but functionality intact

Hi,

I was able to default the value of BP search criteria field to the dealer BP ID..

But I want to hide that search criteria field from the visible search criteria but its functionality should be intact...

If I remove from configuration...the functionality of BP search criteria field is gone...which I donot want to..

So, can I have the solution for this?
