Do not allow status change before save

Hello,

 

we track the timestamps of Status changes in the CRM 701 Service request with a BI-Report.

The Initial Status for a Service request is "New" and we track the time until it was changed from new to another Status.

 

We face the issue that in some of our Service requests the Status is changed from the user in the creation process before the Service request was saved. Since the Service request was never Status "New" our Report fails. Is there an idea how to block this? Maybe the Status field could be somehow disabled (Grey) until the Service request is saved on the database? After the Service request was saved with Status "New" every Status Change shall be possible.
