Hey everybody,
as mentioned above in a customers system there is a very low cache hit rate (about 40%).
We've looked up different things:
Total Cache Size = 400MB (default)
Memory Cache Size = 50MB(default)
icm/HTTP/server_cache_0 details are set correctly;
BUT there are only 660 entries occupied of 10.000 availabel.
In logfile i can see:
[Thr 6426] Fri Feb 7 12:53:37 2014
[Thr 6426] ISC: created 400 MB disk cache.
[Thr 6426] ISC: created 50 MB memory cache.
Edit Errors:
[Thr 01] *** ERROR => IcmLoop: Partner ICMBND(4), wp_no: 0 sent error:
Could not bind service hdhu0671:443 (-1) [icxxman_mt.c 3936]
[Thr 258] **** SigHandler: signal 20 received
[Thr 6426] *** ERROR => IcmStartIcmBnd: "/usr/sap/SMK/SYS/exe/run/icmbnd" failed with rc: -4 - inspect "dev_icmbnd" [icxxextbnd_m 11
After the cache was created, there occure plenty of these tough there is not much traffic on the server...
[Thr 1286] *** WARNING => Connection request from (8/9/0) to host: hdhs0811, service: 1090 failed (NIEHOST_UNKNOWN)
(over 100 in half an hour on last friday 15o'clock).
Can you tell me, if this affects the cache hit quote or elsewise if there are some well known issues on a low cache hit ratio?
Kind regards
Tim
