issue in changing Parent item's item category field value in Order_save BAdi

Hi All,

I am trying to change the line item category from X to Y in Order_save BAdi and Passing the value to the "CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN". my code is changing the item categories in all child items from X to Y.

My issue is : Parent item's item category is not getting changed from X to Y.   my observation is Parent item's item category field is in gray mode other child item's item category fields are in editable mode. is this issue because of Parent item's item category field is in grayed/display out mode?

how to resolve my issue, please help.
