I need some guidance on using Data Integrity Manager ( t-code SDIMA).
I have read through the help on Data Integrity Manager on SAP Help portal. Using the Wizard I have created a DIMa instance using DIMa object 'CUSTOMER'.
In the wizard it gives an option to select "All Filters" or "DIMa Filters Only". I selected "All Filters". In the next screen it asks to enter the Filters.
Just to test and understand how it works I selected the option"All Filters" but in the step for Filter Settings, I did not maintain any filters and did a header compare. System showed results as 470 objects exist in both the system out of which 252 objects were equal and 218 objects are not equal.
Even though I did not maintain any filter in the filter settings, system did a comparison and in the Results, it shows the following fields and field values:

Looking at the above table results I understand that BP number 1001 has been compared and found to be equal in both CRM and R/3 system while BP Number 1002 has been compared and is not equal and the X in Message column indicates inconsistencies. When I check the details by clicking on X, I can see that the inconsistency is in address data. However, I am not sure how to reconcile the errors and inconsistencies in the data.
By selecting the row that has inconsistency I can click on "Send" button to send the data. However, there are two options given in the Send button. First to send data from R/3 to CRM and also the second option to send the data from CRM to R/3.
I have tried to send it from CRM to R/3 as it showed CRM as Initial. But I dont know if the data inconsistency for this BP record has been fixed or not.
Could you please advice, how should I further analyze the data?
Looking at the above table how do I know whether the inconsistency is in R/3 system or CRM system?
How do I know whether to send data from CRM to R/3 or from R/3 to CRM?
Sorry for lengthy post but I just wanted to write down what I have understood so far and if my understanding is correct.
I would appreciate your help.
